DSG 7 Speed Mechatronic Installation (DQ200)

Installation of the DQ200 DSG 7 speed mechatronic after our rebuild has been carried out, this will not need Basic Settings as all original adaptations are retained.

Common Failure Symptoms Before Rebuild:
No gear engagement
No drive or reverse
EPC light illuminated
Main 30 amp fuse constantly blowing

very serious company, I set again the repeared and reset mechatronic DSG7 without any pb, pay attention to the little join when set it on the gearbox.

⁠​⁠ I’ve got a u0101 error code. 09 Audi a3. Fuses and relays are good no crank no start. Car starts if I jump relay for starter. Power is going to the tcu plug. I unplugged it from tcu and oil came out mech unit. Tried to clean. No luck. P flashing at selector inside car.
I have a mech on order but want to be sure before I fit it

When removing the mechatronic unit does the gearbox need to be selected in neutral first ?👍

I have 2010 vw golf mk6 1.6tdi dsg 7 speed gearbox code MLE. Would my car work with the same gearbox removed from golf mk6 1.6tdi dsg 7speed but different gearbox code? Or I need exactly same gearbox code MLE?

Has the top 2 selectors got 3 positions, I can only move the top left selector in 2 positions. I pulled the mechatronics unit off because the car would not move and I got a P 0841 code & a small discharge of oil out of the breather. Im not sure if I have also a G box issue?

Hi,

My Passat 2013 with DSG 7 speed engages when engine gearbox is cold (especially mornings) but doesn't engage when the engine/gearbox is hot.
After turning off/On, gear selection happens but Car doesn't move.

What could possibly be the issue?
Need your support please.

hi there i just followed your turtorial on the replacement .Firstly my original units valve body cracked at the accumalator housing . i then replaced it but used my original board .The car drove but it could only drive in d2 and s2 . Then i saw your video and did the correct bleeding, basically did everything you did.I then now left it in neutral and removed the unit . before installation i measured the selectors to 25mm and made sure the selector forks are neutral while the shifter was in the neutral position . I got everything fitted but i cannot start the car due to me getting a U0101 error code, which means "no communication with tcu/tcm. any help would be great . The car is stuck in park now, park light is flashing and dash says please put vehicle in park.

I thought VW changed the oil to a mineral oil, on recall, but you are telling people to use an synthetic oil. Am I missing something!

When refitting and you say change forks to neutral does the car gearstick inside car need to be in neutral or park?

We are doing one and have lined everything up, we get a clunking noise and the engine almost does a back flip
