It was such a huge mistake that he didn't get to the finals. He performed with all his heart and brought new meaning to all the songs he covered. His performances were so solid and heartfelt. I loved and supported him from the very beginning. I was also rooting for Ryleigh the entire way as well. It would have been epic to have the two of them faced off in the finals. I am sure he'll make it big either as a solo artist or with his band. I've downloaded all their songs and I enjoy them very often while driving. If the music industry bigwigs were watching they would be foolish not to scoop David Vogel up!!

This is what can happen when given the right song and letting the artist make or do their own take of the song. The song John gave him next round was such a BS thing to do, setting him up for failure. This was the single GREATEST PERFORAMCE in the history of the voice.
