Thanks so much Will. I've had Ableton for 2 years and produced absolutely nothing because I just couldn't get my head around even the basic GUI of Ableton. 30 years ago I put a few tracks together using Cakewalk (which was... a cakewalk, it was so intuitive). But I found Ableton so prohibitively confusing and unintuitive I ended up paying for a series of tutorials which were absolutely rubbish and finished more confused than when I started. Then I discovered this video... and I put my first track together before I'd even got halfway through your video. You should be a coach! Oh. You are. ;-) Thanks, once again.

I sat down the other day and was listening to some EDM music, and I felt like creating some, I went on the web and tried to figure the basics. I heard Ableton was a great place to go, especially with a 90-day lockdown free trial, and I had no idea how to use it. I went on YouTube, found this video, and now I can actually use Ableton. 16 days into the Ableton live trial(having not done any music production since ps1 music 2000) and being someone who just got an old skool trance cd from my son in law to be, I just watched your How to make Euphoric Trance Video and I think this is a better place to come. Managed to work out the basics, create some half decent tunes with the core library and get on soundcloud to upload them, but I'm still playing drag and drop and clipping voice off YouTube to at least make them 'spicy'. Some might say 50 odd is too old to start but, in another life that M2000 start might have developed. Your my guy to teach me I reckon. I've followed you on soundcloud and am going through your uploads as I write. Damn sweet. Cheers man awesome vids. I hope in 12 months I can get through that ET video and make something like that.
