The Fujifilm X-T3 - A bargain pro camera

The Fuji X-T3 is a very capable and nowadays, very affordable camera. Personally I prefer other Fuji cameras , but here are some quick thoughts from my time using it together with the Viltrox 75mm f1.2.

Love it. I still use my X-T2 for pro work. Not worth selling & I haven’t had a project where I absolutely needed to upgrade yet.

Getting back into photography after many years and picked up a XT3 and 23mm F2 a few months ago. It's a great camera and the Fuji community is an excellent motivator to go shoot more.

I really love your videos (and photos). I picked up an X-T1 and a month later, while trying to purchase a used Fujifilm lens, came home with 2 Fujifilm lenses and an X-T3 at a steal of a deal. Yes, many people are wanting to upgrade to the newest gear and letting these cameras go cheap. I shoot the X-T1 just as much as the X-T3 with really wonderful images coming from both cameras. I also shoot vintage lenses on both. I may not have the latest models but I have the best camera gear I have ever owned.

I got an XT3 a few months ago for a personal camera and I really love its great mixture of being completely capable of high level work in both photography and videography while still being really affordable. It’s really such an easy recommendation to pretty much anyone

The XT3 can do everything you could possibly throw at it. Perfect for pro use and serious enthusiasts

I still use my xt-1 as a wedding cam with Nikon z6. Works great.👍 Sometimes take pictures with Nikon D700 and a 50mm F1.8. Wonderful camera as well.

I own the x-pro2 and x-t3 and for months now I have that weird feeling of not needing anything more than these two. There is nothing more to ask for.

I recently bought 2 XT3s. I carry them simultaneously with 2 Fujicrons and I am happier than ever.

@mattiasburling timely video for myself as I just picked up a like new X-T2 and thrown in for no additional cost - two lenses 35 F2 and 60 2.4 and a grip! I was looking at getting an X-T5 so I could have a second body to my X-E3, but the real upgrade I needed was the professional functions of the X-T design itself. I'm more of a still shooter, and I couldn't be happier. Love your enthusiasm for unique and retro gear!

I just received the X-T3 (upgrading from the X-E1). Very pleased indeed.

Totally agree on the grip. I shot with mine for 2 years before finally picking up a used grip and I’ve not removed it since except to change the internal battery. The balance is just right and given the so-so battery performance on the older models, have 3 in one unit sorts all that out.

Nice video! @0:50 you are right!
There is a FUJI for everyone. The lack of IBIS & GRIP of the X-T3 pushed me over to the X-H1. Also saved $400 going with the X-H1 ($600 used) as well.
But still the 4K 60P and 10BIT of the X-T3 was tempting.

Such a great camera.

I having been using a Fuji X100T for some time now. I realise that the X100 range is for a particular 'kind' of photographer. I would love an X-T3 for the interchangeable lenses. But, there is something special about having a fixed prime and only working with that one lens and camera body. Thanks for a great video as always, and your toddler made me smile all the way through! Beautiful!

Started with the XT4 and X100V, 3 years later using a XT1 and X30. To my surprise the older body’s feel much better built and more enjoyable to use IMO.

I have a full spectrum converted X-T3 and an 830nm infrared converted X-T3. Great cameras for IR. The EVF is very helpful for any of the MF lenses I use for IR.

Love the older Fuji sensor.... literally the X-Trans1 was the most magical.... and progressively i feel like they have lost more and more magic and they've become somewhat clinical... sony like.... the X-Pro1 in 2023 is still my favorite camera.... shot a friends wedding with my X-Pro1 and X-H1.... and when sorting through the pictures i realized just how much more i like the X-Trans1 sensor

The X-Pro line (despite the problems of the X-Pro3) are for me the perfect photographer cameras
The X-T & X-H lines are perfect if you're hybrid shooting.... although i find the X-T line doesn't feel great in the hand as the grip is just too shallow for bigger hands.... the X-H1 just feels like a nice Nikon/Canon DSLR in the hand (added advantage.... some of the Fuji lenses are quite heavy but they balance perfectly on the X-H1)

The X-Pro1/2 + 27mm for me is the perfect camera setup, insanely light and quick to use and the images just look nice

Right now i have absolutely no need to upgrade anything and the X-Pro1 will remain my daily shooter (although i grab my X70 more and more because it's just nice and tiny)
Hope Fuji brings back some of their magic with future sensors and doesn't get more clinical i want to have fun with my camera... not perform surgery! Also... death to the PSAM dial... i hate menus and like to shoot in full manual

I've been using an X-T3 since I first got it like a month before the X-T4 came out as people were selling off X-T3s looking to upgrade when the 4 came out.

It was my first foray into mirrorless cameras after a few 1 in sensor point and shoot compacts and cheap DSLRs. To this day I have never felt the need for a new camera. It just works and the images are stunning. Love it.
