Fantastic lesson, with cleverly timed visual aids that really added to my understanding of another of those very complex advanced Maths topics.

Hi Jack, the answer to this question is plus/minus root 5 over 5... i only agree with the negative sol. Is the book answer wrong?

Given cot P = -2. where π < P < 2π, calculate the exact value of sin P.

I only see minus root 5 over 5... not +... would highly appreciate your input.

is it necessary to graph the trig functions against eachother to check if they are positive or negative? 5:15

Just wanted to ask, is cotx and secx always negative if obtuse for any value of x?

Could you not just inverse sin of 3/7 to find x and then use that x value to find the other answers?

So if it’s obtuse, cos and tan became negative?
