The news anchor said the cops asked him what he was doing and why he was there. The cop said he (AP) wouldn’t answer him. That’s BS, Jason told him 4 or 5 times what they were doing and why they were there.

The exaggeration on the handcuffing of a compliant arrestee shows it was contempt of cop. They knew he was no threat to the school children. I'd love to have those two in a defensive tactics class.
