-------------------------

The ClickUp template center is arguably ClickUp's most powerful features.

You can templatize basically anything in ClickUp.

From tasks, to lists, to folders, to spaces, to views, to docs, it's all possible.

BUT what are the best ways to leverage the template center, and how should we be using all of these templates?

If you're asking those questions, you're in the right place. I'll be walking through all of this in today's video.

Great video thanks. I'm just trying to get my head around the folder structure and how they relate to templates. For example, does the client folder template include the same list and tasks that are in the list and task templates. Or are they standalone?

Say I've got 3 lists that need to get executed when a new client signs up, onboarding, setup and monthly management. Do I create individual list templates and then add those to the client folder template, or do i just create the folder template and add the lists inside it. Hope that makes sense. Thanks.

When I use the template I notice it re-orders all of my subtasks. How can I preserve the subtask order? I can't seem to find a workaround

As far as checklists go, wouldn't it be better to deploy a checklist within a task rather have a task that only has 5 minutes of budget? Do you expect your staff to track time against a 5 minute task? I would rather roll those up into a larger task to cut down on the administrative portion of managing your timers and have them use checklists. What do you think?

Awesome Video, are you able to rename columns in click up templates?

Are the tasks in your list templates also templates themselves? Or, do you have those tasks in a "task templates" folder separately in the "list templates" folder?

Is there a way of deploying a set of tasks within a list, without having to create a new list? I´m trying to do sort of like a monthly tasks template, but it´s saved up as a list template and when I deploy it, it creates a new list, instead of populating in an already existing list.

If I create a list template made of several tasks templates, and then later on i make an update on one of those task template, will it also update the tasks within the list template?🤔

How do you stop the tasks in your process library from showing up on your tasks lists? Do you not have someone assigned to the task in the process library?
