This actually fits with the theme of liminal spaces, with the early 2010's being nostalgic to this generation it makes this old meme, on top of the backrooms vibe, feel like a fever dream

You are walking about the empty halls of the backrooms, then you hear this music playing faintly in the distance. You follow the sound to find these guys having so much fun. You join in and begin to realise this place is not so bad after all.

This once more proves that the backrooms just spawns the music into existence. It's both everywhere and nowhere at the same time
