I have it since i was a kid, probably because i like to bury my face in my pillow but leave one eye out to see or read stuff- on the same side- and i still do it. Or even, UV rays hurting my eyes so i would close one, always the same one even when there isn't sun outside, my eyes are quite sensitive so i need sunglasses everytime i go out

Oh WOW!! is their hope for my correction of Amblyopia?. My parents told me I was born with it and have gone through 7 surgeries to try and correct it. My LEFT eye is my favored, as I assume my brain chooses my left eye to see most of the time, but I can switch off to the right eye whenever I'm aware of just using my left eye. This has held me back from allot of things in my life because I am super conscious of what my eyes are looking like all the time. I'm pretty much sick of feeling like this, so am I fixable? Oh I am now 53 yrs old and probably too late for fixing it HUH!! Anyone else feel like this too?

Hello i have amblyopia or lazy eye, my eyes are correct straight but my problem is my left eye, with my left eye i see 20-25% and with eyeglases 30-35% and my right eye is perfect with 100% of seeing. I'm 20 and i really want to fix my lazy eye and to see 100% with both eyes, can my lazy eye fix?

Hi Ma'am im having a problem with my eye condition extropia, i came to know that i have this condition since am 11 or 12 years old and now i'm 20 years. Sometime i felt unsecure and i embarassed when i meet i contact with people.
Recently i came across internet that eye patcing exercise will improve extropia. Is the eye patcing and pencil exercise will hepl improve my eye?

Is it amblyopia treatment depends on bright light ? Morer bright ness can send more signals to brain ? Becoz my doctor recommended me citicholine drug for 6 months I am 21 yr old & my vision before starting course is 6/24 now it's 6/12p in 3 months with full time occlusion & at morning I spent maximum times in day light & at night playing games on a large screen with full brightness of my tv in a dark room .?

Everybody talks about lazy "eye". What if your both eyes are equally lazy and bad? I got like 20/70 on both without strabismus etc. Even glasses do little to improve the vision, hence wasn't even allowed to get a driver's licence. Can it be improved on adults?

I've had amblyopia since I can remember. My right eye is tge amblyopic eye with a vision of 20/800. I am 36 years old now. Lived with this my whole life not being able to see out of my right. Eye doctors where I live tell me I'll never be able to see any better. Are they wrong? What should I do?

I'm 19 yrs old, when i was around 5 yr old i had an eye injury in my right eye (traumatic cataract) and I'm having IOl in my right eye my right eye is completely blurry and left eye is 6/6 from past 1 yr, i developed double vision and doctors reduced my prescription from -6 to -2 .i want to know whether this double vision can go worse?
