My favorite version of her was from the first Hyrule Warriors game. I just like her looking more like a strong elegant brute over the ninja one we got in the wild era. I hope the next Impa is more similar to that one, and I want her in Smash Bros one day.

AKA, the least consistent recurring character in the series.

I mean, Link, Zelda and Ganon get redesigns all the time, but it's still clear at a glance that they're still Link, Zelda and Ganondorf, and Beedle and Tingle almost never change at all, but Impa's designs are all over the place: from cute clumsy girl to badass ninja to old grandma.

My personal favourite portrayal of her has got to be from the first Hyrule Warriors game though.

To this day, every time I play AOC I am unable to stop saying Paya instead of Impa. They look too similar lol!

I think the best version of Impa is her being an older lady nurse maiden but also a keeper of knowledge and oracle like in the CDi games, her being more of a sorceress is cooler than some ninja lol
