In this video I will be showing you Puma hunting knife Skinner model made by Puma from Solingen Germany. As you can see, this knife is hand made. You can see knife number, the logo of the company and also all other details. Because this is a Puma knife, it is entirely made in Germany and also the quality control is in Germany.

The parcel contain the knife, brown leather sheath and the manual. The manual is in English and in German. It also has a year of production of the knife, short sharpening instructions and other details. The sheath is really nice, you can see the logo of Puma. It is made of real leather, it has one safety, and it has multiple slings for better attachment to the belt or tight your sheath around your leg, that it is positioned right. You can see all the attention to detail at this sheath; it is really a nice product. The knife itself is one-piece construction, fixed blade; it has a really special design. It is 24.0 cm long; the blade itself is 12.0 cm long and 3.5 mm thick.

You can see that the blade has a special skinner design, with all this attention to detail. It is made of 440 C stainless steel, it has a satin finish and hardness is between 57-60 HRC. Each knife from Puma is also tested for this hardness, and you can see the marks of this test here. The stag horn is real, it is used for the handle, and also has a hole for a sling, and knife also features high polished bolster for better grip.
It is really remarkable how all attention to detail can be seen on this knife. It has been handmade and the quality is really high. This was Puma Skinner handmade hunting knife.

I just got an 11 6396, it's a beautiful knife but the edge is very jagged, it looks like it was cut on something like a metal shaper, so rather than ground to an edge, the steel was remove in one cut. I'm sharpening it now with a diamond stone, I figured I see if anyone else had the same issue. It didn't want to cut paper smoothly. It's an 2007 I got at an auction, but it looked like it was never used.

Nice knife, The hole in the handle is to tie it to the string on the sheath in rough country, It s too far forward to be for a lanyard.
Like many reviews on youtube, your review was not really a review because you did not cut anything with it!
