It is very difficult to say that the kid was asked to act. Looks like Kid has forgotten that there is camera before him. It looks too realistic. Definitely an Oscar material.

A great movie not to be missed. I wish they'll show in movie theatres. The music speaks for itself. It envelopes the whole story. Beautiful, so beautiful.❤❤❤

I just noticed that their deal was kept until the end. Alfredo did give Toto the cutscenes while Toto stayed away from Alfredo (unknowingly).

Watching this movie because Ennio passed away, also felt sad when I realized that the actor playing Alfredo passed away, 14 years ago.

The story of this movie is the story of every kid in every town in the world over the ages whether you are 100 or 10 whether you are Chinese or American or Arab or Jewish or poor or rich. This story is our common denominator that we should reflect on when things get ugly. It's our basic humanity, dismiss it and you risk becoming the older Toto when he has everything but not living as opposed to when he was a kid he had nothing but was living a full happy life
