Starting at Point Lookout State Park in Southern Maryland, my friends and I embark on a day's adventure to explore Smith Island, MD. The boat ride from Point Lookout to Smith Island is approx. 1.5 hours each way, and you have about 2.5 hours to explore the island. We enjoyed a delicious crabcake platter lunch followed by some free roaming of the island and chatting with the locals. It is an experience from start to finish, like stepping back in time. People on the island are friendly and courteous and have stories to share if you're willing to listen.

how ridiculous about the restaurant
what a shame that it took away at least an hour of your time to see the place
