Explanation: Black stuffed Wyrum inside of Mroona, which explains The stitches. The weird shuffling and crackling when Mroona sings is from both Mroona's and Wyrum's bones and organs. You can also faintly hear Wyrum's voice when she sings. The reason Mroona is looking up is because Wyrum's head is pushed against her brain.

Edit: and also, the faint "bassline" you hear is not really a bassline at all. In fact, that's Wyrum's voice, still trying to harmonize and sing along with Mroona, even when stuffed inside.
