“Littlest Things” was the third single from Lily’s debut album Alright Still with B sides “U Killed It” and “Everybody’s Changing”.

The track reached the #21 on the UK Singles Chart and stand out from the rest of the album as it’s a ballad. Lily sings in a softer and gentler tone as she reminisces about a lost love.

The song focuses on the little parts of a relationship that work, while ignoring the major issues which caused the relationship to run its course.

The song was written about Lily’s ex-partner Seb Chew and inspired them to get back together after he constantly listened to it.

Lily’s sweet tale of relationships past was featured in the opening sequence in Celeste & Jesse Forever starring Rashida Jones and Andy Samburg.

The music video was directed by Nima Nourizadeh and released on 11 December 2006.
