I've done a lot of custom installs and have been trained in automotive electrical at my old job for 12 years, you make awesome instructional videos! Top notch, great knowledge base!

Exactly what I needed - I have LED pods to add to the back of my van. Between the van’s tinted windows, a fully loaded hitch-mounted 1Up bike rack, and living in the woods, the factory reverse lights are basically useless. Thanks for a thorough and well paced explanation 🤘🏼

This would be better if it was drawn out on paper in a diagram. It just has entirely too much repeating of things

This is fantastic. Exactly what I wanted and now can wire up my new lights with my new 4x4 rear bumper I'm installing. Took it to an auto electrician and was going to be charged $550. Whatever bro!! Anyway thanks for this video. you have saved me hundreds. In return, I pushed liked and subscribed to your channel. Keep up the good work. A subscriber from New Zealand (NZ)

Thank you for demonstrating this! It’s exactly what I was looking for. I’ve high mounted some floods that I want on a switch for work lights but also automatic when the gx is put in reverse.

That is a lot of work for a mock-up. Nice video. I'm not a fan of cheap splices due to corrosion. Your work has earned you another subscriber.

On top of a roof cage/roof rack? That's where I'll be putting mine when it's all set up. And after watching your vid I now know a slick way of doing it! Thanks again man!

First off, nice video & 2ndly, all you just did was wire the switch backwards with the two power outputs coming from 2 sources! I did this with my motorcycle's undergrowth led pods! It's nice to be able to control how & when something works! Again nice & easy to follow video!

I just received 2 pairs, one will be in the back and one as fog ligths. This video just save me, cause I want to use the back one with the reverse but also want to use it separate by itself, thanks great video.

Great video! Very easy to understand and informative. Thank you, for making it very easy for this mechanically illiterate Jeep girl to learn how to DIY all the awesome mods I want to do.

Nice job! I just realized that you're Chad's friend when I came across this video searching up some things on light bar stuff. Gotta support my fellow auto channels with mutual friends!

Great VIDEO! Thank you!! I have only one question though... as I am confused about the "orange" wiring. When talking about the switch, you discuss orange going to pin 8 on one end and to the battery (for constant on availability and switch light remaining on if switch is grounded) or to fuse box (for ignition on activation) . MAKES sense on both senarios.

THEN regarding the relay... you note that orange is connected to pin 30 and then back to the battery.

SO... will there be TWO orange wires connecting directly to the battery... one to switch and one to relay?

THANKS
