I'm so lucky to have been able to work with such a super talented crew to bring this concept to life. I'm immensely proud of them for what they've managed to achieve in just 12 weeks, and all the hard work sure paid off. Thank you thank you thank you THANK YOU... :')

my interpretation of this:
lime does everything for lemon. they’re best friends. the juice is a metaphor for the energy they put into the relationship, and lime is happy to give everything to lemon. lemon gets upset that lime is doing everything for him so he runs away. upset, like moves on to find orange. lime and orange begin to share juices, and it’s a balanced relationship. while lime and orange are out there being best friends or dating, lemon realizes that he shouldn’t have left, and he feels guilty. after lemon dies, lime gets upset again, but lemon hopes that he’s happy with orange.

the way i interpret this is that the lemon is robin, the lime is the girl that green is about, and the orange is her new "boyfriend". robin said in the description of this song on bandcamp that green is about a girl he loved but he didn't treat as well as he should have, she gave him everything she could and he didn't. when our little lemon guy tries to give back it ends badly and it seems like he was coming off selfish, meanwhile the lime found someone who gave her what she deserved. in the end, they all gain closure and are able to be okay with the past and move on. she was upset and angry but moved on and grew with someone who gave her everything. it's not a completely happy ending but there are no hard feelings towards each other

Last night my boyfriend showed me this video and at the end he said “I cried watching this the first time” so naturally I asked why. He said “it’s me and you, I’m the lime, and you’re the orange. I was all empty and you helped fill me up” and man never did I think I would almost cry over some fruits, but boy was I wrong.
