Relatively new fan of The Growlers. Such a cool band, 'City Club' was my introduction to these dudes. It's fun checking out their older material and seeing how they've changed over the years.

New-ish fan here, introduced to them via Chinese Fountain. I really love both new and older albums. But, I found the magic recipe playlist for your next gathering.

First, put on natural affair while pouring drinks and work in some tracks from city club. Then, whip out the party favors and slide in Chinese Fountain. When the drugs are peaking and everyone's grooving, put on Red Tide. Red Tide brings together both new and old sound. Then work your way into previous albums. This is the way to turn people on to the growlers albums both new and old. If you just try to shove their old music down people throats it isn't received well because that surf rock sound isn't for everyone. But, if you work into that older sound and people are lit and grooving, by the time tracks from hot tropics are incorporated, everyone's partying their asses off. You have to slowly incorporate their raw older sound and blend with the new, more palatable sound. You use tracks from the latest albums to initially hook people in. And by the nights end, they are hooked on the Growlers.

I dunno, but is the first song about that church in the Czech rebublic, where toomany people wanted to be buried in the church grounds because it was holy ground, so eventually there was a huge backlog of dead bodies accumulating outside the church, so they ended up using the bones to build the internior of the church?
The same day I heard this song, I saw this on a documentary. Pretty creepy huh
