Why do they bother taping the battery down? It's not going anywhere....

The reassembly section skips several screws... you have to basically do the disassembly instructions in reverse

Interesting that the Wh rating on the front and the back of the battery weren't quite the same number.

Looks so simple (relatively). Definitely need a watchmaker's touch. I am not willing to try a teardown myself but can I possibly save my water damaged 4a by soaking in alcohol and then letting it dry? I might attempt to remove the screen but no more (not that it matters. It's dead at the moment).

What is the final piece? The mid frame? I got my screen replaced today but the very thin edge between the screen and the back panel is broken so they said that the screen cannot affix down and I have a gap in one of the corners between the screen and the phone. Wondering if a new mid frame could fix it or if I'm better off getting a new phone. Thanks!
