Demon Days is the best Gorillaz album so far. So many songs that defined the "band" appeared on the album.

Aside from this song being a simple and effective masterpiece, this video is the perfect metaphoric illustration of the lyrics — the reluctant and horrific ending of a deep relationship. She is in her own paradise in the clouds, when all of a sudden the world attacks and she has no defense. Her paradise is set ablaze until it is unrecognizable, unsustainable. Everything she cherished has been destroyed and she is forced to watch, defeated, as it all comes crashing down into oblivion.









The Goriilaz are true artistic genius on so many levels.

For many years i have stopped listening to gorillaz, this song was like a background music to my life back then, it plays in my head everytime im in a situation. Now im having goosebumps just listening to it reminds me of when i was chasing my cheating father, running away from my problems, walking downtown stoned, man i feel like in a movie whenever i hear this song!
