That's a really nice unit for the price. I guess the 18650 has built in protection which makes a lot of sense, and the thicker PCB helps with heat dissipation from the current 'shunt'. Sure It's not for rough field use, but for hobby use on a bench it's excellent 👍

That size, so little screen for an oscilloscope...we've definitely seen it before! Finally something that has a protected screen! AND DID YOU SAY 12MHz? Heck that is a lot better than those 200ish KHz units you otherwise see around! The illuminated dial is welcome, but the buttons aren't, they missed that part. Is the backlight brightness adjustable though? The battery can easily be upgraded for more runtime, yay! That is a proper SMD current shunt. Shame about the fuses...

haha, remarkably questionable protection solutions.
Also, what is this shrink wrapped, Dupont connected 18650 mania everywhere? Why can't they just use hotswappable ones so there is no downtime (and no spot welding required when replacing lol)
