Alberto Contador's Specialized Tarmac

Показать описание
Alberto Contador rides a Specialized Tarmac with plenty of custom touches.

He's won the Giro D'Italia, Tour de France and Vuelta a España in his illustrious career, and Contador has a special paint job to symbolise this.

Other little touches include a slightly non-standard FSA chainset - 53/38 - and El Pistolero also chooses mechanical Dura-Ace as opposed to the more widely used electronic version.

We think this bike is worthy of a champion - do you? Let us know in the comments down below!

Is it just me or is every bike in the pro peloton... "one of my favourite bikes in the pro peloton" (Tom Last)

On the subject of specialized, I just bought a pair of specialized enduro gloves and they are absolutely excellent in cold weather. Not trying to sound like a walking advertisement, but GO AND BUY THEM THEY ARE AMAZING

1. The thing on the front fork is an SRM speed sensor as Bert is still on a PC7 and they don't have GPS for speed
2. The K-Edge mount isn't there to catch his chain, although it will do that. It's there because it houses the SRM magnet on the end of it.

I like the fact that he runs mechanical shifters! Nice bit of tradition....

I bought an old tarmac s-works from 2007, I feel like I'm part of the club. Now I need to train like I deserve this thing.

I've wondered about the bar tape, always looked massive on TV, so good to know that it is double wrapped and I'm not going mad.

Bang on 6.8?

He did not say that it was one of his favorites in the pro peleton in the start of the video.
