I must admit that I love very much this youth piece of Boulez.

I have alway admired and respected the really giant Maître that Boulez was, and my admiration culminated when I got the chance to meet him at Ircam back in 2010. In 2016 I humbly dedicated to his memory my piece for chamber ensemble “Les cloches sans maître”. That said, I never understood and never forgave that such an intelligent human being could make the mean, blind, ignorant and completely wrong statements about many of his contemporaries and colleagues such as Satie, Les Six, Dutilleux and many others. In addition to that, he behaved as an arrogant mafious boss, literally fighting all those composers whose language was going in other directions than his own, doing whatever to boycott them, and often successfully due to his limitless criminal power. That shows he was indeed a big Maître, but, due to his need to belittle everyone else, as John Adams acutely said, Boulez was a big Maître with a very, very small marteau... This may sound trivial, but look: who are usually the arrogants who need to belittle the others? Those who live a complex of inferiority due to their small... marteau 🔨

En el compás número doscientos quince la partitura indica para la mano izquierda del piano un sib y un la, sin embargo se oye claramente que toca sol sostenido y la. ¿Es un error del copista o del pianista?

For me his works were stronger when he wasn't doing Serialism.
His Serialism tends to sound simply like "exercises"
kind of like all Serialism.

The piece starts to drag during the first reprise of the scherzo. Then the harmony, avoiding consonance at all costs, becomes boring.

Why have you copied it out? This is a poor exercise in notation and gives the impression that B. couldn't notate properly. Why not use the original It was so bad I couldn't watch.
