Doctors will use AI instead of Google. Therefore will be better. However, the talk in this video does not mention Insurance companies. They run the healthcare system. They decide what will be allowed. They are the regulators. They are the problem. Yuk.

Liability. Can't blame a robot. Maybe have patients talk to walls.

Insurance will now bill you for “AI visit” crazy

I do not want a government run system. BUT - you don't get health costs down, and quality UP without a few things: MORE doctors needed. HMOs need to be brought down many pegs. And I think HMOs politically -are stronger than AARP, Israel, NRA. And more skilled. Also.... the requirement to have health insurance - was a good one. But "personal responsibility' didn't seem to matter on that issue.

Actually they're way better at math now and hallunating is a lot less (but human doctors can do that to) but considering the vast number of mistakes human doctors make along with their unwillingness to even run tests or admit mistakes, AI doctors would still be a massive improvement. How many people die every year because of incompetent, uncaring doctors? AI will listen and keep trying to figure out the problem and, yes, AI is vastly kinder than 99% of doctors because human doctors have biases and they have a need, due to their egos, to not be wrong. It will also bring down the cost of healthcare in several ways including eliminating doctors getting paid for visit and visit without helping the patient at all. And patients will get the proper treatments sooner so less likely to end up in hospital, etc. Indeed, the time will come when medical nanobots will keep us healthy but this is a first step. The lady here, like many you find online these days, has prejudge against AI. People are afraid of the unknown which I understand but the only way we solve problems is to move forward with these technologies. Today a story out is that skin cancer is close to a cure, thanks to AI. AI is going to become more human, and is becoming more human, everyday. Look at some recent interviews with the heads of tech companies and indeed the person saying all this was coming since the late 90s, Ray Kurzweil. The future is going to be interesting.

Surprised they didn’t mention AI scribing allowing doctors to spend less time charting and more time providing care for patients

Hopefully an AI Doc will get to root of diseases instead of dispensing pills, upon pills.
Neighbors started with one. Now both are buying at least a dozen.
