Northeast Ohio weather forecast: Fall preview to summer sizzle this week

Your 6 p.m. Northeast Ohio weather forecast for Aug. 19, 2024: Below average temperatures have settled in and will be with us through the middle of the week. Some clearing through the evening and overnight. North winds will be a bit breezy with lows in the 50s. You might want to grab the jacket or layers for Tuesday. Highs will only top out in the upper 60s. North winds will produce a few lake effect clouds. Just a small chance for a stray sprinkle.

Lows continue in the 50s for the rest of the week. High temperatures will be slowly improving. Sunshine will return and become more abundant, especially into Thursday and Friday. A few clouds, but feeling more like August for the weekend with high in the mid to upper 80s.

Temperatures flip flop back to above average early next week with highs nearing 90. Mainly sunny skies and mostly dry conditions will prevail.
