12/1/2023. I just love this song!❤ Every time I watch the movie & hear the song I'm reduced to an incoherent puddle. The year it came out, I too, recorded it on my phone to listen over & over during the Xmas season. In 2023, it is one of my 4 Xmas ringtones. Thank u for posting this. My Grampsee died December 24th many years ago, and my grandma loved this Hallmark video because of this song. The lyrics "wish you'd come home for Christmas" and the part about the angel just hit her a certain way 😢 I learned how to play this on guitar for her before she passed in 2020. She passed from old age and Alzheimer's during lockdown, but my mom was able to be with her because the nurses made an exception since my mom was there so much she was like staff. Thank God for real life angels in this life.

I love this movie. Every time I watch and listen to the song, I cry. Brings so many memories of my husband who passed in 2004.

Thank you for posting this. I’m missing my late husband to a level I don’t understand. It’s been almost 5 years. Yet, for some reason all i wanted was to put on my wedding ring. It’s been four years since I’ve had it on. It’s hard to explain how complete it makes me feel. Thought I’d be over the dude by now. As if. I’m toast. I’m just starting to get it. I’ll never get over him. Am I supposed to? Yeah, I thought so too. Turns out that losing him didn’t take. It’s really okay though because remembering him? Even stupid arguments? I took so much for granted. Thought he’d be around to holler and scream and be mad and and to not be mad at and to see him at his best and worst and love him no matter what. God help me, I turned out to be a widow. Guys? Humans reading this? Don’t make my mistake. What wouldn’t I give for the privilege of him being around to be mad at. Damnit, i miss all the stupid stuff i took for granted. If only we had a second chance.
