Crematory Operator/Cemetery Superintendent here. This person would be impossible for my facility and the other local facility to handle. She is nearly 2 times over our weight limit and moving the body would be near impossible. More than likely, she was brought to a horse crematory to be cremated. It’s shocking but I have been turning more and more deceased away because of their size. It’s dangerous for quite literally all staff. A body that large could burn well about 3, 000 degrees.

The way the mother is behaving, she definitely doesn't want to blame herself for feeding her daughter to death, which she did. So she blames everyone else.

"Something's got to be put in place." Lady, that was your responsibility. You should have pre-planned her funeral or have your daughter lose weight. It's not everyone else's problem that you were irresponsible.

The mother cries victim and ignores the 20-30 people trying to help. Most crematoriums cannot handle someone that size. The BTUs put off from the burning fat is so high that it has actually caught crematoriums on fire. The super morbidly obese become a gigantic grease fire. instead of taking 3-4 hours to finish the body, they take days and days to finish safely.

This is insane. It’s 850lbs of dead weight. Removing her body was also dangerous for the fire department and police too. They could’ve gotten hurt. I hate to say this, but what the mother is asking for is unreasonable. It’s only a small percentage of the American population is over 800lbs. It’s not enough for state legislations.

If it was so awful to see her dead daughter in the house for so long, why didn't she do something while her daughter was still alive. The people really responsible are the ones who allowed that girl to become so overweight. She is pointing fingers everywhere, but the mother is the one who truly failed her daughter.

Interesting how obese people demand services from those of us who are not obese. In other words, destroy their own health and expect healthy people to deal with the consequences. Not once did that mother thank anyone.

Losing a child has to be one of the worst pains imaginable. If you really love your kid, you've got to tell them "no." Love how the Mom's reaction was "there should be policies for when this happens." Instead of "this shouldn't have happened."

Oh I have stories about caring for the bodies of the obese. Oftentimes the family is in denial about how big the family member is... Hence the offence to everything.
The largest we cremated was 600 pounds, it took 10 hours and the smoke was RANCID BLACK. People around the crematory complained, and an inspector came around to see what happened. We had to explain she was just fat! The other half of that... having to get her out by taking out the wall of a mobile home!! And the family complained!!! No one else was willing to take her!!

Another one I have was another 600 pound woman, whose family was offended we had to forklift her casket into the grave. Totally blind to the fact that a casket that big, to support that large of a woman, made the total weight of the casket 1000 pounds. Asking us to leverage that into the ground would easily I jure multiple people.
If you don't lose weight for your health, lose weight for a graceful death.

There is no way to be dignified at that size.
Besides, dozens of people risked their health and safety to tend to the remains of a woman who weighed more than any human being should weigh.
FFS, she weighed more than a BROWN BEAR SOW.
WHAT MORE DID THE MOTHER EXPECT THEM TO DO?!

Im so fucking angry at the thing calling herself mum killing her daughter. Whoever brought that lady food should be charged with murder. If you locked someone up and starved them to death youd be charged this is exactly the same in the other direction.

I can imagine having a deceased family member in the house for 12 hours after they died easier than I can imagine feeding someone until they got to that weight.
