Announcing Muslim Media Hub! | Dr. Shabir Ally & Dr. Safiyyah Ally

Our team is gearing up to take things to the next level! We are announcing phase 1 of Muslim Media Hub! Muslim Media Hub will strengthen the capacity within Muslim communities to take the power of media and use it to advance proactive, long-term narrative change.

The media hub will provide space, knowledge and resources for the development of creative, professional video content for film, television and social media to change perceptions about Islam and Muslims and showcase the diversity and richness of Muslims’ lived experiences. It will also empower the next generation of Muslim creators, through training and mentorship of Muslim youth in videography, editing, scriptwriting, hosting/reporting, storytelling, etc. And it will engage Muslim grassroots and community-based initiatives in strategic advocacy and outreach to transform the way Muslims are perceived on the screen and in their everyday lives.

I am an Irish Catholic. I love listening to these two and would strongly recommend them. They have a very objective approach and intellectually explore how much all faiths have in common. The demolish all those negative barriers that divide us and develop our shared love for God. There is a mosque near St. Peters church and every time I pass it on my way to the gym, I glance over at the message above the mosque entrance that reads, "Love for all, hatred for none". Beautiful.
