Aerial Photography In New Zealand

Aerial photography plays a huge role in my work and interpretation of the land. In this video, I share some tips on how to plan and execute a successful aerial.

Fiordland is my home and main inspiration for my images. From the land, sea or sky, there are so many ways to explore and portray the wild landscape here. It's common for me to plan out aerial shoots and try and align various fiords and mountains with the sun, moon or other conditions.

Let's head out with my buddy Shaun in the Cessna 172 and try and create something special over Breaksea Sound.

Not planning an aerial William but I am here for the ride and it was exhilarating.
So many varied images with light and shadows and colours and angles, mixed with video clips; it was really awesome.

I would like to know what your settings were like the ISO the F-stop and shutter, as I am doing one in a few days and it's all totally new. Not really expecting to do anything as you have done but the experience
