Nix is BUSTED, Here's How To Fix Him in Star Wars Outlaws

Tonight I ran into a game-breaking bug while playing Star Wars Outlaws. All of a sudden the Nix Command button stopped working and I couldn't get Nix to help me out with anything. I panicked, then went to Reddit, then tried to troubleshoot on my own and I found a fix!

UPDATE: it seems like there are multiple ways to try and troubleshoot this, have a read through the comments if my solve in the video doesn’t work :)

Hi Everyone. On X-Box Series X, this is what worked for me: 1. - Un-equip Nix's Treasure Bowl. 2. - Exit game to the X-Box dashboard (hold down the X-Box button on the controller and QUIT) 3. - Restart Game. 4. - Load your preferred game... do not Resume, but rather Load. That got Nix working for me again! Thank you to all of you for all the comments. It all helped me to get it working again!

This just happened to me mid mission. Just saved the game. Closed it out, launched it again and reloaded the save and it worked PS5 after the latest patch

Happened to me on Xbox. Not sure exactly when it happened, because I kept playing after I noticed thinking it would fix itself or was temporary. Unfortunately, this fix didn't help.

I found a solution that worked for me, after everything else I saw also failed to help: found a new Nix trinket out in the wild for him to find (I happened to have a location marked out on my map) and collected that. Once the task was done, Nix was fixed. Simple as that. So for anyone else for whom the solution in this video also isn't working for, assuming you're not stuck somewhere due to the bug, maybe try seeking a location online of a Nix trinket you haven't found in your game, and give that a shot.

This problem started on the final mission for me. I will have to try this fix as I can't open a pair of shutters to progress.

IT WORKED! Thank you! I have a PS5, and 25 hours in and on Kijimi. I just finished the Nix treasure quest and it still didn't fix it. So I saved the game, turned off my PS5, turned it back on and loaded the new game save and bamn! Nix works! Thank you for this video!

Save, close the game, open the game and just continue to play with Nix working perfectly

For me it was a nix treasure I didn't know I had triggered that caused it. Found the item and it fixed it. Ubisoft needs to get on this and patch it. Total game breaker. Almost uninstalled the game and file it in the stack of bad games

My issue started when I accidentally stumbled upon a Nyx treasure location while I was being chased by Stormtroopers. The issue resolved when I went back and found that treasure after I dealt with my wanted status.

Thank you so much! Had just the same issue with nix today at the same time after the first slicer quest. The fix worked after loading a recent save and unequipping the granade peek from nix! I love the game to. Even if it’s not triple A. It’s great. ❤. Will follow your channel. 👍🙏

As I watched this video I ended up closing out my game after returning to main menu via in-game menu navigation. I just loaded back in and Mix works again. Last I changed on him today was adding range to his abilities so he could go further for me. I didn't remove anything before restarting the game ( not console, that stayed turned on)
