The Chapayev is the BR equivalent to the Kirov but can it compete to the gunpower of other nations ships at top tier or is this a toothless beast from the east?

I still have a feeling that there is no way how this together with newest cruisers should face 5.0, there seem to be simply nothing to do when you are uptiered. It's either just me who is so bad at playing for instance HMS Enterprise into the point that I developed the habit to leave instantly every time someone spawns in 5.7 or it's just really wrong, plain and simple.

take a look at the pg 02 after the most recent patch, fire rate has been reduced from 3000 to 450 rpm and its still at 3.7 making it almost useless

I discovered a new way to protect ur ships against fire and explosions. U simple let your ship flood when it gets hit below the waterline

Some news on the Mogami btw, it's been discovered that the Mogami's gun angles in WT are *severely* underperforming, Aizenns from the forums has gone to a Japanese library and has personally scanned various documents, hopefully his bug reports go through.

Note for you, in general shells with 5kg+ TNT hitting ship have around 10% chance to set local fire if blast reaches crew compartment/superstructure.
also smaller rounds with at last 0.25kg of TNT have 5% chance, but that much less likley due to smaller blast radius and in case of Armor piercing rounds they need to detonate inside crew compartment, with isn't to common.


i will repeat its for blast, not Fragmentation.

I can't really blame you for playing what you enjoy the most at the moment. Due to the diversity of the playable stuff in the game you can't show all of them at once. But it would be nice to see some more tank content like a video on the Object 685.

I trink there are different Chapayevs in this Game.
My one got Glass Ammoraks.
It explodes in 2 of 3 Battles after the first or second Hit.
Sometimes i make a luky Hit but in the most Situations i need a lot of SAP Rounds to destroy Enemys because the Spread of the Bullets is very high.
Only one or two of my twelve Bullets are hitting the Enemys on long Distance.
The KI AA hits noting or every time after the Bomb or Torpedo is on its Way.
I have all Research Parts mounted and my Crew Skill is 96.
My Kirov is much better than the Chapayev.

I love the chapayev. Not only is it my baby but damn can she get the job done. The 37mm ( when destroyed ) will come back within maybe 4 to 5 sec so anti air is always up. The explosive ap for it is highly recommended. And she isnt really slow her turning feels like that but speed wise no. And your first end game results are just like mine 9k rp. I got that and without premium.

Chapayev is the best ship for the event, since you get shot all the damn time its free battle time. I get 3 crates per game

Hello, Napalm. I've currently have problem with my Chapayev that 100mm ready round, which is covered by only 10mm of armour, detonates when they got hit by even 5 inch HE and make my ship sunk. Although this ship is nearly perfect ship ( I'm sure about this because I make my kill/death ratio 6 in this ship, although I'm not skilled player), I think this is problematic that such small amount of round (there are only 30 in one turret) can detonate this 15, 000t ship. Five days earlier, I got 4 succesive death by this problem, and I just delete this game. Do you have same problem with me?

Nothing like a post ww2 ship w russian bias having the same rating as ww2 ships. I bet this POS was already outdated vs its adversaries when it was launched. Still thanks for the naval vids napalm.
