WAIT! The game pad IS the console? Not the dock it fits into?? How the hell did Nintendo manage to make a console powerful enough to run Skyrim the size of an iPad???

I love the way you can have 2 people playing on the one console whether you're at home or on the go, but also just have people playing on multiple consoles together. By having two consoles you can have 2 people playing with the full controls or 4 people playing with the single controls. And you don't have to buy any new controllers for that.

I was the first kid on my block to own an original NES. Mowed so many lawns and did all kinds of extra chores to earn enough money, but I did it, and it was one of the best purchases I've ever made. I no longer have the console, but carry the memories I made, with me forever.

This looks so cool, I'm pretty impressed with how far Nintendo has made it. This is a serious contender in the console market, it offers unique experiences that the Xb1 and PS4 don't.

Those + and - buttons, if you notice in the video, I think they could be the release locks for the sliding the controllers off, it looks like his thumbs put a bit of pressure on those buttons while sliding them off.

Hey guys -- thanks for watching this Rewind. Just a quick note that the arrow that points at the player icon during the Mario Kart analysis is just a tad off. I know Roy is not Dry Bones. The arrow is meant to point at the icon slightly below and behind Roy; basically, the player in last space. It's definitely not King Boo, since's up front with Mario. Cheers!

Also, I didn't mention it, but the official Switch car cradle at around 5:57ish is pretty wild. I wonder if that's a concept or something they're actually planning to make.

5:49 the guy on the right appears to press a shoulder button on the mini controller, which is not visible in any of the footage. If there are shoulder buttons on the joycons, they would interestingly have to be in a different location on the right joycon versus the left.

Found out that this, a super Mario 64 style game, and red dead redemption 2 are coming out in one day... best day ever.

Honestly there is one thing I think people aren't noticing
I think the switch has two GPUs or an amplifier in its dock
This is because an upgraded Tegra gpu is enough to run 900p 60 fps gameplay on handheld
but not enough for 1080p 60fps on a Tv. So.. most likely the dock contains an amplifier or another smaller gpu
in which when combined with the Switch handheld ups its power.
