Kyoto is Japan's cultural centre, famous for its numerous classical Buddhist temples, as well as gardens, imperial palaces, Shinto shrines, Geishas and traditional wooden villas. We spent 7 days in the city exploring all of the most famous spots as well as the more hidden gems.
