The page of watercolour words. The whole page of lettering could have been watercolour painted in a strong dark blue. When its half dry, the page is randomly dabbed with a paper towel to remove some of the paint. A digital 2nd option: The lettering all done in solid black with sharp edges. A second page covered in a random watercolour pattern is scanned and digitally pasted into the selected outlines of the shapes of the black lettering. This makes it look like the letters were painted with random colours.
