Fun Fact: Kazakhstan officially changed its flag on June 4, 1992. So the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic flag was still in use even after the Kazakh SSR has already declared independence on December 16, 1991. Just 10 days before the official collapse of the USSR on December 26, 1991.

So, Kazakhstan was the remaining Soviet Union territory for more than 6 months in total of days, not only 4 days.
