I've literally been looking for this song for five fucking years

This is the Grime highlight of 2014 for me. Personally, this is the direction that grime should have moved in from about 2003 onwards - it maintains the aesthetic of the original sound but it's also a logical progression. No disrespect to other big players this year (Oil Gang, butterz etc) but I think a lot of new Grime (not the shitty trap rip-offs) has a habit of being too self-referential, being overly reliant on Eski beat as if that's the only sound that can be grime. This track is a perfect example of something that is definitively grime yet progressive. Big up Rinse for spotting the potential and definitely big up Murlo for producing a classic. Great vaporwave video as well lol.

Murlo's coming with a pretty original sound atm, it's a bit like old school grime but it's not the same, it's good nonetheless
