Your painting was nice, but putting the paint on without removing the housing ( the plastic part ), you risk damaging the controller and causing stick drift. Keep it in mind the next time you customize a controller!

Im thinking of way you can do this without taking the shell apart because it is time consuming and not everyone has the tools i recommend getting some sand paper and sand it. Cover the seems of the controller and around the buttons with painters tape even the analog. But i dont know if that way could work. Everyone like taking the shell off I dont.

I think MAYYYYBE you should disassemble the controller first cause the ink will DEFINITELY damage the inside of the controller (The circuit board)
