Black Myth: Wukong, China’s first AAA premium quality game, has become the most played single-player game since its release on August 20, 2024. The game recorded 1.4 million concurrent players on the gaming platform Steam in the first three hours of its debut. Those numbers surpassed other popular titles, including Cyberpunk 2077, Elden Ring and Baldur’s Gate 3. Some players say they have been looking forward to its release, despite allegations about the game’s diversity.
