I bought it to me when they still had lifetime guarantee, and it was a perfect bag. It travel probably 250, 000 miles. Then they stopped doing a lifetime guarantee and the new measurements for airplanes. Well the wheels gotten away and I have yet to find that “ perfect“ bag yet

The bag is 5kg. Airline carry on limit is 7kg. Last 3 flight in June, 2 airlines rejected the bag to be brought onboard. Meaning I can only pack 2kg worth of clothes and shoes. Wow.

Tumi’s quality has gone downhill, unfortunately. They eliminated their lifetime warranty and replaced it with a five year; likely due to product issues. Thankfully there are still plenty of other luggage manufacturers that offer a lifetime warranty.

Telescoping handle broke, sent in for repair and could not fix. So much for warranty, and me a 100% voucher. No more Tumi.
