Friends and family are mourning a Yonkers mother who was was struck and killed by a truck while attending a Carnival celebration in Antigua last week.
Oniqua "Nikki" Phillip, 25, was on vacation with her family, including her toddler son, Eden, when she died Tuesday on the Caribbean island.
"She was an amazing person," said a friend, Munachi Iwuagwu, who attended Sacred Heart High School in Yonkers with Phillip. "Always happy, always joking."
