mine has never held its charge from day one. don't use it and it goes flat. others from uniden I have had don't do this

Who taught this guy to hold the radio (and therefore its antenna) sideways...?!? Has nobody told him how antennas work? This'd be the kind of bloke who complains that his handheld UHF isn't getting even one-tenth the advertised range...
