UAH has many facilities and research centers that give students valuable opportunities for hands-on experience. Here is a quick look into the Machine Shop, supported by the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering. The Machine Shop is a 5,000 square foot space designed to support our engineering students in gaining hands-on experience developing their projects in order to strengthen their understanding of design and how that relates to Manufacturing and Product Development.
