Gutted, last September I set up a spring page and spent ages getting designs done and even paid 10 quid to link it to my website. Now my website is almost ready to attach spring to and now this. I have a massive audience that is crying out for merch here in the UK. I've had a nightmare trying to find a drop shipping company that's fast and affordable and easy to use. Looking forward to your videos about this sort of thing. Thank you 😊

When I was first watching YouTube videos about POD I was excited about Teespring but then they suddenly changed to Spring & did away with their market, and wanted influencer's to do all the work for them and lock out everyone else so I simply never had anything to do with them.

I really do like most of your videos and what it seems to be a genuine effort to help us out here, especially us beginners; thank you.

As a photographer I don't do typical graphic design tees. I do all over print clothing from my photos and digital art. And Teespring is the first company I found that has lots of garment choices for all over print cut and sew.

Threadless only has a graphic tee and leggings, no sports bras, swimming trunks, joggers, etc. and frankly I don't bandwidth to run a shop my self and connect to printful or printify. So who do you recommend for all over print cut and sew?

Teespring was the first place where I started POD. I remember them removing my first true vector design that took me hours to make. It was about yoga in space with an astronaut costume, stars, and planets, and it had text like "I need more space" or something. I don't remember exactly. And they removed it because of trademark infringement. The trademark owner was a wardrobe shop/manufacturer. They didn't have any clothing in the trademark, just business. It was the first time I had fought over something like that, I wrote a letter asking how is this possible when they don't have trademarked it for anything else, and they simply said, "We cannot help you. A trademark is a trademark." I left Teespring after that.

after RB kicked my butt from their platform, l moved to Spreadshop and Threadless, gotta say, way better experience, especially Threadless, they have competitions and their commision is awesome, much better than most platforms.

Teespring has a lot of nice features for the look of your store. Their clothing products are of good quality. The problem is the base cost, passing it off to your customers which reduces sales. So, I walked from Teespring quite sometime ago.

I remember they are the pod for youtubers who manage to reach 10k subscribers? But their shiping fee is ridiculous

i just started POD 6 weeks ago. all i see is outraged complaints from longtime sellers. so where do you go if you want your designs in the search and not have to rely on your own social media to drive traffic? and make 2 dollars a design ? AND they want you to use an illustrative style and be super witty=yet if you look at what their top sellers are its very basic.any info prior to a month ago seems redundant.longtime sellers who have thousands of designs and in high tiers have a completely different perspective.

my dad bought a shirt with my design to show off and the design that was supposed to be over the pocket badge spot of the front, but came out to be giant and in the middle under the collar, he still wore it out of love, but it definitely turned me off especially after sending multiple lower quality "premium" shirts that were essentially their cheap thin paper feeling classics.

So many PoD sites becoming ridiculous 🙄🤦‍♀️😵‍💫

Have you ever looked into/spoken about Cafepress? I know they're not the big dogs now, but i know they've been around for a LONG time! Never hear about the site, but was curious...

I mean the answer as to why was answered in the first 2 minutes.

Business model was not sustainable. They can bring as many new features as they like, if they are not making money as a company they are gone.

I’ve given up with print on demand. The odds are becoming increasingly in favour of the platforms and not the creator. Feels like chasing rainbows now.
