Finally. Someone who doesn’t just say “believe in yourself and you can do anything” and gives ACTUAL advice.

I literally just said said the same thing to a prospect. After them asking the details of contracts and payments - I said that it was completely irrelevant if we weren't going to work together, and I wanted to make sure they and I were ready to progress first, because we both need to have the ability and want to solve the prospects problem before we even think about drawing up an agreement.

Wow! So simple but mind-blowing question -> What is it you need to know whether we are the right fit or not? Thanks Guys!

Brutally to the point.
Thank You.
These 'bite sized' moments of 'enlightenment' are worth their weight in gold !

You guys should change the title. This isn't for a new client, it's for a prospect. Big difference

This is profound. You're really making an impact Bro. Bless You

Really sound advice as always. The sales mentality is all about quick turnover on leads. That's not a viable option in certain industries. You're dealing with people and their ambition and that's a finicky thing.

I would love to hear more about what questions to ask / how to tell if we are a good fit

I love Chris do. One of the things he said in a video which I found useful is:

"Do you know what they need to know?" This will help you decide if it's a good fit

Love the advice to just ask! You can't know unless you ask!

Damn what a good way to approach the conversation. This is business not some game of dating, it makes sense to be blunt and not do a guessing game.

Brilliant advice! Just ask. And that’s exactly the right question.

These bite size clips are the move, so addicting! It's crazy how they play with your mind in that you may hesitate to watch a whole hour, but end up watching an hour or two worth with just clips 😅

Interesting how so many people interchange the term Prospect with Client - It's one or the other! A prospect is not a client and client is not a prospect!

To be honest, the usual answer that I've gotten to this sort of question from a client is whether I can work with their budget or not, and the budget they quote is usually a lowball offer. So how do I transition from this situation to one where I negotiate without seeming like I'm not the right fit for them?

I've always believed that engaging a client empowers them by involving them in the process of me helping them achieving their goals and when there is an error on my part, I never try to cover it up!
I fearlessly involve them in the problem to allow them the opportunity to work together or find an alternative solution together so that there are no surprises.

May i know where i can watch the full video? Is it a past YouTube vid or a specific course

This is all good and well. However, in the UK in the industries I work within. The top people will avoid and divert from answering these questions 100% of the time. What do you do then? These are the places where the best offers and money come from. What is your approach then? I'm intrigued.
BTW total agreement about looking for fit and understanding what the needs are so I can address synergy and how capable I am of solving said problem. However, when they don't want to treat you as an equal or express what they want, do you write off the biggest players in your industry? Let me know

Avoid the guessing game, never a good thing! 🙌
