I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, I don’t personally think Ruka is a bad love interest, it’s that she’s too perfect so much so that Kazuya himself stated that “she’s more like a job than a girlfriend” add that to the fact that she’s mainly used to annoy kazuya goes to show that she’s not the main love interest, and if she was, the series would have ended long ago.

Ruka is not that bad, her character doesn't deserve to be stuck in an anime like this. if an incel would have a cute girl that totally loves him lying around, then he wouldn't be an incel to begin with, but he acts as if he's too good for her Lmao! Talk about an author projecting his alter ego.
