Bangladesh's main opposition party has been holding anti-government protests for months, with the latest in Dhaka attracting up to 100,000 people.
A poor economy, rising food and fuel prices and power cuts appear to have galvanised long-standing anger at Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
The protesters want her to resign and make way for a caretaker government ahead of elections due next year.

I am saying with a heavy heart that I and 7 members of my family could not vote last two times. Someone else voted for us in 2014. We went to the vote center and heard that our vote was done. Same situation in 2018. I can't explain the pain of not being able to vote in my own polling station. I hope I can vote correctly in the next election.
