I like the sound of our larger 1 inch impact sprinklers

To avoid sprinkler damage, I install mine next to trojan fences, usually in corners. And follow granite retaining walls for the lower side. Seldom do I install one in the middle of a yard. 🐀🐾

I want to replace my fixed rotor sprinkler 3/4" to the Rotay Nozzle type which has a 1/2" female opening. Do you have those fittings. I have searched my local Sprinkler Warehouse and Home Depot to no avail. There seems to be option but silly pipe and a barbed fitting. Is that the only option.

All the PSI requirements assume that only one sprinkler attached to the line I assume? Most houses have 60 to 80psi which feed to the sprinkler system where each line turns on at a time but each line can have any where from 4 to 10 sprinklers so it's hard to figure out all these PSI requirements.

I feel like spray head throws down water WAY too fast? Easily 1'' within 20 min and that is with no overlap. That must be too much for clay soil lawn? Does rotary nozzle put down less, since it is not static, or does it just look more fancy/maybe more evenly? I am struggling to find something that meet my needs in my 3 meter wide front lawn that doesn't drown it

I have a rotary head rain bird, but I’m looking for the adapter to go on the outer casing. They come in different colors, and they shoot distance different life; I can’t find them anywhere, and I don’t want to get the wrong ones. Where do you recommend.

Great video. What can I do to get more water in some areas that only gets moist but the water does not go in deep in the soil? My sprinkler system has risers and it over throws in areas I want the water to hit but around the sprinkler itself it only gets moist.

Do you know what to use around home foundation? Like a mister or which rainbird? I have them against house and think only have 1- 2 ft space in front until walkway. The ones I have now are older Mister types with small bronze nubby nozzle tip on top that screw onto standard risers. I can't find them anywhere but need something similiar. They spray out sideways mostly it seems but not in front. Don't want to get spray on house siding. But I don't know if those are better since sideways along foundation even if they spray on house some?

I have spray type sprinklers, can I change to rotors if I change all the sprinklers is that zone. All I would need to do is remove the old spray heads and replace all in the zone with rotors?

The round plastic inside the body, on top of the spring at the base of the raiser, gets stuck (old) and does not move up and down easily which causes the head (raiser) not go down. Is there a place to buy replacements for that or I have to changes the whole or almost the thing. I have Rain Bird. Thank you for your very informative video.

In a line can you put two or even three different types depending on the section?

What’s best for windy spots for grass? Obviously misting is wasted water when windy. My rotors, and yours at the 50 seconds in the video, show lots of mist. My R Vans don’t mist but they give so little water and close in watering stinks. I got HE Vans bc of more water flow but they mist a lot and range is poor relative to.m R Van so it seems less water put down than R Van.

for MP style How do these jets get full coverage? For example if you set to spray out 10 feet distance... then how does it cover all of the area of the grass from zero to ten feet? Does each individual stream throw a difference distance to cover all of the area as it rotates? Thanks for the help.
