How to Draw FIRE (Easy Drawing Tutorial)

How to draw fire from your imagination. In this drawing tutorial, you'll learn a simple method for making fire shapes completely from scratch.

DRAWING FIRE - QUICK STEPS:

1. Establish the fuel source. This is the base for where the energy is coming from.

2. Draw a simple gesture line to guide the shape of the fire. This is usually some kind of S curve.

3. Sketch the basic outline of the fire's shape using your gesture line or line-of-action as a guide.

4. Sketch the flames and fire shapes in the style you want to express.

5. Draw the line work over the rough drawing on a new layer. Draw the red outer flames and the hot yellow inner flames.

6. After coloring, you can add blur, glow, and color gradients for more a more special effects driven fire look.

Drawing tutorials are, for me, the most interesting type of content since I want to improve and those help more than just observing your work. However I'm not an animator, so the tutorials that focus instead on "still" drawings are best for me.
I don't know if it's true for others but if I am looking for a tutorial I would rather click on a thumbnail where it's obvious that it's a tutorial and not an animation (I do also watch the animations of course, I just wanted to say you tend do pick your thumbnails in a way that makes it not so apparent whether it's a tutorial or an animation; for example the thumbnail for your video on cel-shading) Of course it's not a big deal and it's totally up to you. I'm just trying to help you get more clicks on your videos and stuff, since I think you very much deserve that. I'm writing this mostly for the algorithm though, lol. But regardless, thanks for sharing your knowledge and I'm looking forward to more tutorials from you.
