What impresses me the most is how Graham doesn't get rattled. He takes his time, spends a few seconds analyzing the situation and then picks the best line. He almost never wastes energy. Look at 6:43 in. He tried a line, didn't make it. Rather then fight and manhandle the bike over the terrain he calmly goes back down a little. Then patiently watches another rider try the exact same line, who predicable doesn't make it and falls. Then Graham executes a slightly different line and cleanly makes it up the obstacle on the 2nd attempt. No fuss, no frustration, no wasted energy. I was imagining 7:30 Graham thinking "don't do it, that line doesn't work" rider falls "yep I told you so".

I think I was 12 or 13 when I first saw videos of Jarvis. I'm 24 now and he is still killing it, absolute legend.

Those incline rock fields are INSANE. I'll never do that s**t again - hurt too seriously. I don't have the skill set. But it is amazing to see these guys find their lines and keep at it. MAD Props to these Mad Men!!

The bike seemed to get loaded up a little easier than some of the others. It did feel like Graham was lugging a lot during the race. I wonder if the bike needed a tune or something. I know early on Graham was showing frustration with some of the riders not waiting their turn, but he did the same thing a couple times himself. I imagine that getting a little bothered by some of the other riders is a huge part of these races. I hope they all go for a beer and laugh together afterwards. This kind of sport has me wishing I'd spent more time on the trails growing up. Such a cool video, and hopefully the beginning of a great rabbit hole. Keep up the great content, Graham.
