One of the questions I see and hear the most is "how do I match my samples tempo to my projects tempo in Maschine?".

In this video I go over 3 different ways you can stretch a sample within the Maschine. Through the Sampler Module, Audio Module and Sample Editor. There's no wrong way to do it not one that is better than the other. Each method provides a different workflow. In this video I show you the different methods so you can decide which suits your workflow the best.

two years later I still love watching your videos, Barry - and two years later I'm still waiting for NI to combine the AU and Sampler modules into one, or at least let me chop from AU, would make stand alone projects much more efficient.

Yoooo this is fantastic. That loop method to where you resample your loop was a complete game changer

Great video man. This explained exactly what I was looking to do. Thank you!

Good stuff as always brother. I haven't used the sample module to tune samples in a while. I've been using the stretch option more lately but I think I'm gonna try out the other methods you pointed out in the video

How do I make the sample in the piano roll all the same length as the original sample - so that the highest key doesn't sound like a fast pitched mouse? Anyway to?

Is there an efficient way to turn them off when not needed to save CPU ? Is adjusting them tempo via the Sampler editor less taxing on the CPU (bc it commits it to the wav)?

I find the auto detect is never right (user error?). I have to switch a sample to audio, manually adjust the Audio-source-tempo until the loop looks/sounds correct. Then I'm left with a bunch of pads that are all Audio "Gate" mode and they eat up ALL the CPU. I know i need to bounce them to new pads but on the M+ (no computer) it seems more cumbersome to do this.

Thanks but I rather stick to my method. Which is open wav file in FL Studio set the desired BPM, save the file and open it again in Mashine. Wolah, ..problem solved. 😊

Every time I stretch the sample it just speeds up and never matches the project's bpm, what should I do?
Ps: I own the Maschine Mikro

Anyone use Maschine in STUDIO ONE? I have a few questions. First, can the speed not follow STUDIO ONE. Second, I have no control over Maschine's playbar, I have to start from the beginning every time.

I ain’t gonna lie, this is one of the main reasons I hardly ever use samples. I don’t have the patience to match tempos and all that. Unless I stumble across something that’s just undeniably dope I don’t sample anymore.
